From pitching business ideas and learning about investing, to unique opportunities to visit real trading floors, meeting mentors and stepping inside the offices in the City, every activity is designed to build confidence, spark curiosity and develop real skills.

Mentorship & Real-World Learning

Learning Our Four Programmes

Each programme is designed to bring a different dimension of financial literacy to life — from enterprise to investing, from career discovery to industry insight.

Enterprise Challenge

Students work in teams to develop and pitch business ideas to a panel of City professionals. They experience the full journey — from identifying a problem to building a solution, creating a business plan and presenting under pressure. A transformative exercise in creativity, teamwork and financial thinking.

Investment Competitions

Students learn the fundamentals of investing through a hands-on competition where they manage a virtual portfolio, research companies, track performance and present their strategy to professional investors. Top teams have the opportunity to step onto the trading floor at a leading City firm.

Career Events

Our Career Day events connect students directly with professionals from across the City of London. Speakers from banking, asset management, law, technology and more share their career journeys, answer questions and help students understand the breadth of opportunities available in the financial world.

Career Events

Small groups of students are hosted inside leading City firms for a day. They tour offices, meet teams across different departments, participate in workshops and get a genuine inside view of working in finance. Work experience and pathways into apprenticeships are opened through these partnerships.
